Importing a Software Token for Your iPhone from an Email Link

Before you can import a software token for your iPhone, you must install the SecurID software. For details, see Installing the RSA SecurID Software on Your iPhone from the App Store or Installing the RSA SecurID Software on Your iPhone by Syncing with Your Computer.

Note: Importing a token from an email link is supported for iPhones running iOS 3.0 or later.

1. Open the e-mail sent to you with the link to the token.
2. Select and open the linked token file. When prompted, open the file in RSA SecurID, as shown below.

3. If prompted, use the device keyboard to enter the token password (provided in the e-mail) into the Enter Password field, and tap OK.

The token is installed, and the application starts.

4. Delete the e-mail containing the password and the link to the token file.
